Space

Operating from a shop unit in the centre of Welwyn Garden City, Space provides a drop-in place for the youth of the town. They can just chill or chat and develop their social skills or speak to one of the volunteers about any concerns and receive counselling when appropriate.

Space is a joint initiative between the YMCA, several churches in Welwyn Garden City and other volunteers, including SaFeT-Net.

This drop-in lunch club at a local secondary school is used by about 20 pupils.
